In a collaboration that benefited both parties, several Osa entrepreneurs improved their business venues with the help of university students, while the students obtained practical experience as they contributed to the economic improvement of the Osa region.

On March 26th, 32 interior design students submitted proposals to improve ten businesses in the Playa Blanca, Rancho Quemado and El Progreso communities. Said proposals were developed after the students took part in a tour to meet the entrepreneurs during the first week of February.

Additionally, several advertising and product design students are currently completing their required University Community Work hours for Caminos de Osa. The former are creating promotional materials for the project such as logos, menus, brochures, signs, and others; while the latter propose structural improvements for the businesses. This segment of the project included a visit to the 13 businesses that needed the most guidance in these areas.
